TEFL Certification in Seattle
The course site is located about 5 miles north of downtown Seattle, within easy access to public transportation, shopping, and entertainment. A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited university required. Proof of degree must be presented prior to the beginning of your course.
Students who have not completed a bachelor's degree but who feel study at this TEFL/TESL location would be beneficial to them must interview personally or by phone with the course director. Academic expectations, certification requirements, and employment opportunities will be discussed. The final decision about accepting a pre-bachelor’s candidate will be made by the Director.
The training center is an academic TESOL program that is offered in cooperation with Seattle Pacific University, a private university in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Pacific University is a well-established university which has been a leader in education for nearly 100 years. Seattle Pacific University approves all School of Teaching ESL syllabi to assure that the course content meets university requirements. All School of Teaching ESL instructional staff must hold master’s degrees and must be approved as adjunct faculty at Seattle Pacific University.
