  2010  Foundation of International TEFL Academy (ITA) in Chicago. ITA offers TEFL Courses online & in Barcelona, Spain.

  2012  ITA starts offering TEFL courses in Chicago, USA, and in a third sister location in Heredia, Costa Rica.

  2013  ITA starts offering TEFL courses in more than 20 locations worldwide.

  2015  ITA has certified more than 5,000 students.

  2016  ITA now counts more than 10,000 TEFL certified students & inaugurates the first edition of World Alumni Day, a way to celebrate our students in the form of a giant party in over 30 cities across the world.

 2017  ITA reaches:

  • Over $50,000 in total donations made to charitable organizations.
  • Over 50 employees. Since then, ITA has had around 60 people on staff, including our TEFL Course instructors.

 2018  ITA wins numerous awards, including:
