What's Your Favorite Travel Memory?

Once, I got off the wrong stop on the train in Osaka, Japan. I had an enormous bag and was exhausted and didn’t exactly know how far my hostel was. I walked about a mile and eventually stopped in a tea shop and had a glass of iced oolong. I asked the man working there, in my limited Japanese, if the hostel was far away. He assured me that it was, and within five minutes, he presented me with a woman (another customer, I presumed) and her young daughter (both of whom spoke almost no English) who gave me a drive all the way to the hostel. I was glad to have a few small gifts to give to her in return. She seemed quite happy, and I was touched and delighted to be at my destination.
