Uganda and Kenya left the biggest footprints in my mind and heart. I lived by the Nile River and Lake Victoria. Nature does so many incredible things that it is difficult to explain the invasion of fire ants, the sounds of the myriad types of exotic birds and monkeys, the intricate webs of the caterpillars on the trees, and the giant snail in the backyard. If you love beautiful landscapes you must take a ride through the Great Rift Valley in Kenya and also see the numerous tea plantations. Despite the bumpy roads, the views were breathtaking. The abundance of children who are so eager to learn, friendly, and open-minded will also leave a lasting impact on you!
Thailand, Honduras, Jordan, Macau, Uganda, Kenya, Italy, Israel, Guatemala, Mexico, and Canada.
Be extra respectful towards the people you meet and towards your students. Take care of yourself and your health by getting enough rest, relieving stress in healthy ways, and eating nutritious food.
