What advice do you have for ITA students who want to teach English abroad?

Be flexible. Nothing will go as planned, and that is part of the adventure. Be respectful of ways of thinking that don’t match your own. Learn to laugh at yourself. You are going to make a lot of mistakes, and that is ok (as long as you learn from them).
