I am one of two Marketing Managers here at ITA. My role is to help with our marketing strategy, content creation, website optimization, SEO, social media... you name it!
Bonjour et bienvenue ! Traveling has always been a big part of my life. I am a French national who grew up in Tahiti, studied in the United Kingdom, started working in France, and now lives in the United States.
Upon graduation from college, I pursued my passion for digital marketing and exploring the world. I worked in public and digital diplomacy for 4 years at the U.S. Embassy and the Canadian Embassy in France. Working for two foreign governments in my home country was great but not as great as actually living abroad! I moved to the United States at the end of 2016, where I married my wife and later joined the marketing team at International TEFL Academy.
When I’m not working, I'm probably at Wrigley Field trying to catch my second foul ball!
I'm from Lorient in Brittany, France, but I now live in Chicago. Brittany is famous for its cider, the best crêpes you will ever have and hosting a couple of France's largest music festivals (Les Vieilles Charrues and the Interceltic Festival of Lorient). Check it out! Additionally, I went to college in France (University of Nantes, Paris-Sud and Paris II) and in the UK (Cardiff University). I have a Bachelor's degree and an LLM in Law, a Master's degree in International Relations and another Master's degree in Communications.
I have lived in France, French Polynesia (Tahiti), the United Kingdom and I now live in the United States. So far, I have visited Spain, Hungary, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Andorra, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, The Dominican Republic and Easter Island (which is part of Chile).
Argentina, Iceland and Scotland are definitely next on my list! Additionally, as I am a foreign national who lives in the United States, my goal is to visit each of the 50 states. I have already made it to 17 of them.
I love Mexican, Italian and Vietnamese food. As cliché as it might sound though, I could live off French baguettes, salted butter and cheese easily.
Try, explore, enjoy, repeat. Life's too short. What are you waiting for? I love living abroad, speaking a different language and embracing a new culture every day. I believe you will love it too.
ITA is a family of world travelers who enjoyed their experiences teaching/living abroad so much that they now want to help you do the same. At ITA, I have found a job that allows me to do the two things I am most passionate about: use my digital marketing skills and learn about the world. Additionally, my coworkers are incredible people who are all passionate about travel. We are very enthusiastic about what we do and we have fun doing it. And we try to inspire you along the way.
