Perlie Yang is 27 years old and from Los Angeles, California with a BA in Economics from California State University - Long Beach in 2019. Shortly after graduating, she obtained her TEFL certificate, packed her bags, and headed to Busan, South Korea to teach English. Perlie also spent a year teaching English to preschool students in Istanbul, Türkiye before transitioning into a digital nomad TEFL teacher and traveling to a different country each month.

Matt Mitzel is 29 years old and from Hampstead, Maryland. After obtaining his online TEFL certificate from ITA in 2017, Matt has traveled the world and lived in Spain, South Korea, and, most recently, Türkiye, teaching English. Matt is currently in the midst of a worldwide digital nomad adventure, and he travels and lives in a different country every month while teaching English online. Since September 2023, Matt has spent time in 16 countries and is currently in Mexico.
Taught English in Costa Rica
From pioneering organic farming in Madison to shaping iconic festivals in New Orleans, Becca's journey evolved through career shifts and unexpected turns. COVID paused her vibrant life as a marketer but opened the doors to her digital nomad adventures teaching English in Costa Rica and Chile, where she met her Colombian husband. Now settled in rural Florida, she and her husband embrace the thrill of farming life.
Taught English in Taiwan
Abriana's travel addiction stemmed from her move to New York for college. After graduating, she took a backpacking trip through Vietnam, and through meeting other travelers, she learned about teaching English abroad. Abriana was soon TEFL certified and spent 1.5 years teaching English in Taiwan followed by ESL tutoring while traveling around Thailand.

A lifelong traveler who grew up in Cairo, Egypt, John Bentley wrote for the Egypt-Israel Edition of the famous Let’s Go! guidebook series during his student days at Harvard and has worked in the fields of international travel, education, and journalism ever since. Residing in Vancouver, Washington, John enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and cooking up a feast!
