I teach the Online TEFL Certification Course and have been with ITA since June, 2020.

  • Lehman College City University of New York M. Ed. TESOL

Where have you taught?

Kansas City, New York City, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Arizona State University.

What countries have you visited?

Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, France, England, Switzerland, Holland, Iceland, Germany, and Luxembourg.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Spending hours every day from 3:00-7:00 pm to watch the sun set behind the volcanoes across Lake Atitlan and the evening storm roll in from the Sunset Cafe in Panajachel, Guatemala.

What advice do you have for ITA students who want to teach English abroad?

  • Explore all the possibilities and find places that tick all your boxes.
  • Connect with teachers through social media.
  • Build your teaching toolbox with your lesson plans, online materials, and a PDF of the ITA textbook. 
  • Research your country.
