Alumni Video: A First-Time Traveler from Chicago Shares Her Adventures Teaching English in Japan 


A native of Chicago, IL, Jaclyne Johnson never traveled abroad prior to taking the International TEFL Academy Online TEFL Certification Class and heading to Asia to teach English in Japan.

In this new alumni video, Jaclyne discusses the rewards and challenges of moving to a new country and adjusting to life in Japan, which she describes as a "breath of fresh air." From exploring castles to indulging in authentic Japanese cuisine, Jaclyne describes some of the highlights of life in Japan and offers some handy pieces of advice for those who follow in her footsteps on the adventure of teaching English in Japan.
