I'm very interested in teaching abroad but I have a small dog that I could not leave behind. He only weighs 7lbs and can travel well, but can I bring him to teach with me? I'm concerned about the living situation. I'm interested in teaching in Thailand.

I am very interested in working in Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paula. I realise that they prefer face-to-face intereviews and I do intend to fly there in mid-March. Doea anyone have any adivce for me?

Hi Elizabeth, please speak with your advisor with your questions. The answer is yes you can take a dog abroad, it varies country by country but it's very common. Here is an article about pets abroad: http://www.internationalteflacademy.com/faq/bid/104059/Can-I-take-my-pet-overseas-when-I-teach-English-abroad

Laureen, our records show you are a ITA graduate so you should call our office directly and speak to student affairs. This page is a company blog not an alumni forum the writers read. You can join the ITA Alumni facebook group for that: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ITAAlumni
